High Mountain Poker started with a simple belief: the best games happen when people feel like they belong. Here's a little about who we are and why we do this.

Overview
High Mountain Poker has served Eugene’s North Gilham community for more than 17 years. It’s owned and operated by Heidi, Jeff and Lux, who came up through the room as players, dealers and managers. Today the club hosts daily cash games, weekly tournaments and charity events for Lane County organizations.Poker isn’t just our business. It’s our journey. Heidi joined High Mountain as a dealer and rose to general manager, and Jeff dealt here for 10 years. They bought the business in 2019, and Lux, who trained here as a dealer, joined them as an owner in 2021.
Today High Mountain runs 9 tables with daily No Limit Hold 'Em, weekly tournaments and a rotation of mixed games: Omaha, Seven Card Stud, Five Card Draw and High Low Chicago. Members register for games online, get text alerts when seats open, and still get greeted by name at the door.
Players Drive Everything
Every game at High Mountain Poker is run straight, every single time. Our dealers are trained to uphold the rules fairly and consistently, so you can focus on the game instead of wondering if the game is fair. Trust isn't something we assume — it's something we earn, hand by hand, night after night. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's why players keep coming back.
Whether it's your first visit or your five-hundredth, you're welcomed like family the moment you walk through our doors. We believe a great poker room is about more than the cards on the table — it's about how people feel when they're in the room. From the way our staff greets you to the way we handle the small stuff, hospitality is woven into everything we do here.
Our dealers and staff are trained to keep every game fair, friendly, and moving at a good pace — because nothing kills a good night like a slow table or an unclear ruling. We take the details seriously so you don't have to: accurate dealing, consistent pacing, and staff who know the rules inside and out. Professionalism is what lets everyone at the table relax and just play.
Poker is better when it's shared. We've built a room where regulars become friends, and friends keep the tables full — where the same faces show up week after week, and new players are welcomed into the fold just as warmly. High Mountain isn't just a place to play; it's a place to belong. That's the kind of community we're proud to have built, and the kind we're always working to grow.
High Mountain Poker is more than a card room — it's part of the fabric of this city. We're proud to be a gathering place for Eugene's poker community, and we're always looking for new ways to give back to the place we call home. We've played for the Lane County Diaper Bank, Food for Lane County, the Community Thanksgiving Drive, the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House Museum and the Medical Tattooing Charity Golf Tournament.
As Eugene's poker community grows, so do we. We're always looking for new ways to make this room feel a little more like home — for the players who've been here since day one, and the ones who are just walking in for the first time. At High Mountain Poker, every hand is an adventure, and every player is part of our family. 1020 Green Acres Rd #13, Eugene · Open daily, 11 AM – 2:30 AM · (541) 485-0090
